Steven G. Lampe

Principal

Mr. Lampe co-founded Lampe, Conway & Co. LLC in 1999 and provides overall leadership strategy for the Firm and portfolio management for the Funds. Mr. Lampe began his career as a specialist at Spear, Leeds & Kellogg LP. From there he joined The First Boston Corporation where he pioneered their effort into distressed convertible bonds, and then in 1989, began his distressed investing career at R.D. Smith & Co. and later Smith Management Company. In 1998 he and Mr. Conway joined Lone Star Securities to build an internal distressed investment fund and later decided to form Lampe, Conway & Co. Mr. Lampe has focused exclusively on investing in distressed and special situations since 1989. Mr. Lampe holds an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University and a B.A. degree from Middlebury College.

Richard F. Conway

Principal

Mr. Conway co-founded Lampe, Conway & Co. LLC in 1999 and provides overall leadership strategy for the Firm and portfolio management for the Funds. Mr. Conway began his career as an investment banker at Citibank, NA and continued in banking at L.F. Rothschild, Salomon Brothers Inc., Security Pacific Merchant Bank and Needham & Co., successively. In 1994, Mr. Conway joined Smith Management Company where he met Steven Lampe and began investing in distressed securities and special situations. In 1998 he and Mr. Lampe joined Lone Star Securities to build an internal distressed investment fund and later decided to form Lampe, Conway & Co. Mr. Conway has been focused exclusively on investing in distressed and special situations since 1994. Mr. Conway holds an M.B.A. degree from Yale University and a B.A. degree from Harvard College.

Michael E. Venezia

Managing Director, Research

Mr. Venezia first joined Lampe, Conway & Co. LLC in 2005, and leads the Firm's investment research effort. Mr. Venezia began his career in 1997 as an equity research analyst at Prudential Securities. In 1999, he joined Citigroup Global Markets as a credit analyst. In 2004 Mr. Venezia joined Weiss, Peck & Greer as a credit analyst and junior portfolio manager. Mr. Venezia formed TEC Advisors in early 2014 and rejoined Lampe, Conway & Co LLC in early 2016. Mr. Venezia holds a B.A. degree from Boston College and an M.B.A degree from New York University.

Patrick J. Fitzpatrick

Managing Director, Trading

Mr. Fitzpatrick joined Lampe, Conway & Co. LLC in 2006 and is the head trader for the Firm. Mr. Fitzpatrick began his career as a broker representative at Alliance Capital Management. From there he joined Paine Webber and then Avatar Associates in trading support roles. In 1995, he joined Prudential Securities as an equity trader for managed accounts and transitioned to become a convertible securities trader. In 1999, he joined Kellner, DiLeo Cohen & Co., where he was a convertible arbitrage trader. Mr. Fitzpatrick holds both B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Fordham University.

Suzanne E. Murphy

Managing Director - Chief Marketing Officer

Ms. Murphy is a Senior Marketer and Investor Relations Executive who has been very successful raising capital for a diverse range of alternative investment products. She has led Business Development teams for both Private Equity and Hedge Funds and has been a results focused leader with over 20 years of experience. In her past roles, she has raised over $6 Billion working with Magnolia Road, Ares Management, Claren Road Asset Management and Delphi Capital Management.

In addition to raising capital, Suzanne spent part of her career allocating capital to hedge funds, giving her a unique perspective among marketing professionals.

Eric A. Schaeffer

Chief Operating Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Schaeffer joined Lampe, Conway & Co. LLC at its inception in 1999 and serves as the Firm’s COO, CCO, and CRO. Mr. Schaeffer began his career in hedge funds in 1992 as an assistant trader at Smith Management Company. After Smith Management Company, Mr. Schaeffer pursued his masters degree from 1995-1997. He rejoined the hedge fund industry as a trader with Lone Star Securities Fund from 1998-1999. Mr. Schaeffer holds a B.A. degree from Colgate University and an M.A. degree from Rice University.
